Welcome to my blog! Any Osmosis Jones or Animated Godzilla The Series, fans out there...?

Hey, I am new at this, but figured it would be a great way to meet other fellow collectors, and fans of these 2 excellent cartoons, "OSMOSIS JONES", and"The Animated Godzilla Series". Well, OK, Osmosis Jones was a movie, and the Godzilla series was a TV series, but they are both still cartoons, so you get my point, yeah? OK, let me just say, that I am a graduate of Sheridan College's Classical Animation Program, which should explain my interest in cartoons, and collecting unique prototype toy figures. In this case, it's pretty much all about Trendmasters, the toy company that only now, seems to be enjoying a lot more notoriety since they closed their doors in 2002! Such a shame honestly, because I would like to believe that everyone who tunes in to read this, should know that it was Trendmasters (TM for short), that created the wonderful Iron Giant toys, that over the past few years, have rocketed in both scarcity, and value. Well, we all know what a spectacular film The Iron Giant was indeed, but unfortunately Warner Brothers didn't properly promote it, and it didn't reach the fame that it should have..., THEN. However now, it ranks up there with all the other great cartoon films, and is by far my favorite animated film of all time!
OK, let's keep going...; In 2001, TM had produced a line of toys for Osmosis Jones, which made their debut at the 2001 Toy Fair. Unfortunately nobody was interested in them...?!?! That's just crazy!! Why? Well, I consider myself to be super lucky to have 21 out of the possible 22 prototype toys that TM made, but were never put into production! I searched high and mighty for them, and made some wonderful contacts. I am still in the process of doing the same thing right now, as I continue my search for the unproduced prototype toys, from the ill fated TV cartoon of "Godzilla The Series". The movie of Godzilla was not good. It was totally shunned by most serious Godzilla fans. I can understand why. Most hated his newly designed look. Can't say much for the story either? However, as for the spin off of the movie, the animated Godzilla cartoon, was great! TM also had the toy license for both of these Godzilla outings. Everyone who saw these, agreed that the cartoon Godzilla series toys, were far better then the movie version's toys!! Part 2 will follow shortly..., but please feel free to join in!
